2006 Blog'D Award - Best DVD Release of a Cartoon from the Eighties

"The Dungeons and Dragons ride!" For years, this cartoon was only available as a bootleg at conventions, but in 2006, it finally received the DVD treatment. It's an incredible package collecting all three seasons of the cartoon series on four discs, and includes a fifth disc packed with features, including a documentary and a radio-show version of the script originally written for the finale episode that was never produced(!). This is a fun, nostalgic ride, and while some bits of the animation do definitely smell of the 80s, the charm still shines through.
